HTML Editor Update
Author: Geoff B.05/22/2008
We have launched a new version of the HTML editor this morning. While the interface and user experience should appear the same, among other cosmetic and technical changes, the following major changes have been made:
- HTML editor is now supported on Safari on Mac.
- The procedure for inserting images and links in html pages has been dramatically improved. This process changes the "browse server" button, and now allows you to browse all images and files available on your site. Complete instructions on inserting images on a web page are available here.
- File and Link property dialogs no longer appear in popup windows, and use an overlay instead. This eliminates compatiblity issues with pop-up blockers.
Note that these changes update the entire code base for the HTML editor. As a result, you may need to clear your browser cache to prevent compatiblity issues with the new browser.
