How do I make a portfolio private?
- Beneath Portfolio Management in your Account Management menu, click the name of the portfolio you want to restrict external access to
- At the top of the next page, click the Password Protection link
- Next to Restrict Access:, select Yes. Assign a username and password, then click the "Update" button.
- You can also use our Private Portfolio invitation, located at the bottom of the Private Portfolio Settings page, to send login details to your customers
Note: Hidden portfolios are invisible by default. You can make them visible, but still require password protection by enabling the "Display this portfolio in the portfolio list" option. Only the login page will be accessible.
