New Feature - Blog Feeds
Author: Geoff B.09/14/2006
We’ve added a new feature to the blogs which allows you to provide an RSS feed for your blog articles.
An RSS feed is a link that visitors can use to subscribe to your blog, allowing them to receive any new articles that you post to your blog. While it all might sound a bit technical, RSS makes this very easy. Visitors simply use the link provided on your blog page to subscribe. That’s about it. We’ve taken care of all of the technical stuff.
You can subscribe to blogs using a RSS reader, or an RSS-enabled email client. A very good RSS-enabled email client is Mozilla Thunderbird - which includes anti-spam features, works on both mac and windows, and best of all, it is free - definitely worth checking out!
Depending on the program they are using, subscribers to your blogs will receive your new postings in a manner similar to new email messages. It's a good way of keeping people up to date on new projects, exhibitions, etc.
You will find the RSS link next to the “previous articles” link found on your blog page.
