I am an Artist residing in Miller Place, New York.

I have earned a B.A from Plattsburgh State University in

Sociology/Human Services and a

B.A. from Stony Brook University in

Studio Art and Art History.

I have worked as a commissioned artist for over 12 years.

My emphasis in Fine Art is in

“exploring the expression of emotion' in oil landscapes,

still lifes, and portrait art.

My work has been displayed at various galleries

located throughout Suffolk County N.Y.

My work may also be found in numerous private

collections.

I have recently served as President of

the North Shore Art Guild for several years

and was treasurer of that organization previously.

As president I was responsible for coordinating the display

of NSAG member's Art throughout several local sites,

coordinating the NSAG annual juried and membership shows,

organizing instructional demonstrations with artists

involved in a variety of mediums,

organizing monthly 'Still Life' painting sessions,

and providing members with information

with respect to upcoming exhibit opportunities.

I am presently signed with a publisher and

I am working on illustrating two children's books authored by myself

as well as a series of children's books by another local author.

I have worked with the SouthCountrySchool District's

summer enrichment program in their 'Students 4 Art'

sessions for summers 2009 and 2010.

This is a week long enrichment program which instructs

students from k – 12 on the various mediums including

drawing, painting, sculpture, and pottery.

A very rewarding experience.

I am a member of the Brookhaven Arts and Humanities

Council where I aslo serve as Judge/Juror on request.

I continue to display my work throughout local venues.
