A graduate of Yale University, L.B. Benson wrote for companies like the Oxygen Network, David E. Kelley Productions, 20th Century Fox and the L.A. Weekly, before deciding to put down her pen and pick up her brushes.

Trained in beauty and SFX at Westmore Academy and airbrush technique at Temptu Los Angeles, she loves creating illusions both gorgeous and ghoulish.

Her recent credits include Re-Up/Toyota Scion, Project Ethos, Hunters & Gatherers, the Discovery Channel, and the award-winning short film Worth. Her work has appeared in ShutUp and Fashion/Art, and will be featured in photographer Karen Hsiao's upcoming book from publisher Baby Tattoo.
